Question by Melissa: Scrap gold jewelry kits? What do you think?
Has anyone seen those commercials where people get money for their scrap/old gold jewelry? They advertise that you send in your old gold in a "kit" and they send you money for it? Anyone tried it, heard anything about it? It almost seems too far out there, or that they aren't going to give you much money for your gold and you can't get it back? any thoughts out there?

I have never used them and never plan to. I think it is a sham and you will get screwed over. I think the best way to get rid of scrap gold is to go to a jeweler and get it appraised and then sell it accordingly. You could get some good deals on Ebay or at a pawn shop. Some jewelers even buy it from you. Don't use the "kit."

Question by AH: What difference does kits and badges make on fifa 11 ultimate team?
What is the difference between having (for instance) a gold barcalona kit and badge and a bronze accrington kit and badge. I ask because I want a nice kit that no-one wound recognise like in a bad league but if the kit effects how good my players play or chemistry then I will just buy all gold kits and badge.

To my knowledge they make absolutely no difference except making your team look better to whoever you're playing. It's unlikely that the kit/badge has any significant effect on the players other than a slight morale boost which is hardly worth spending your hard earned coins on.

I'm working on my Gold Award for Girl SCouts and I wanted to create kits which hold toys for kids as a part of it. The only problem is that I want boxes to hold the toys that are not made out of cardboard and can have a logo or the name of my girl scout project on each box. Is there any way I can get a good kit like box?

I don't know how big of a box you want, or what kind of budget you are working on. A craft store or discount store might have some plastic boxes (storage boxes etc) that might work. You could use vinyl letters on a smooth plastic surface for a logo or name. Printable sticker paper may even work for a name or logo.

I turn pens for a hobby. I have ben doing this for about 2 years. I have been thinking and I wonder if anyone knows where can I purchase a solid gold pen kit?
