Best Video Editing/photo Slide Show Software With Panning Feature?

Question by dms04d: Best video editing/photo slide show software with panning feature?
I'm mainly looking for software for creating slide shows of vacation photos however I've had difficulty finding software with advanced panning features. The one's I've seen with panning simply zoom from random spots and pan out. I'm looking for one where you can zoom to a certain part of the photo and pan out from it.

Also, can anyone recommend a good video editing software? Thanks

You can use Windows Movie Maker. It comes with your OS.

    Well..the best is Sony Vegas Studio.
    The simplest free and maybe worst solution could be windows movie maker (quite very limited options in there).
    Another good one is Pinnacle video editor.

    My personal favorite is Adobe Premiere. Extremely flexible in the special effects area. Downside is like Photoshop. It does have a sharper learning curve then other programs but the more in depth the features, the more difficult it is use the program.
