Question by Johnny C: Panning and cropping more than 1 video onto of eachother in Sony Vegas?
Im making a machinima and the 1st video I crop wont stretch fully into the wide screen TV so I was thinking of putting the video on half of the TV and then getting a question mark and cropping it to the other side of the TV but when I put the question mark ontop of the other cropped video it doesnt show up.
So can someone tell me a way to either stretch a video wider or how to crop a video ontop of another cropped video? thanks!

Answer by xXSallyXx This may sound really confusing but I'll try to explain!
Right click event pan/crop
On the event crop/pan tools you will see this two square-ish icons the top one is to lock aspect ratio click it so that you can unlock it
if you make it smaller, the screen gets smaller
or you can use a preset, I find them really helpful sometimes^_^
well I tried explaing it but i dont know if you understood

Answer by robert C that type of work is only suitable for a coloring of gold on medals , car ornaments etc. where it looks good, but if you want to do jewelery, watch straps etc, the thickness has to be guaranteed to a standard that it wont rub off in a week or so. so be very careful if you are looking into it

Question by BMW M6: Should I invest in this??????????????????
Alright, I am 15 years old. I really need to make money but I have no idea how. I have tried everything. Any jobs I would get would not provide a steady source of income that I need. You have to be 16 to work anyways. I have tried online surveys but it is not worth if.
Anyways, I'll get to the point. After checking the price of gold today, it made me wonder. Could prospecting pay off some day? Now, I live in California, I live close to motherlode county etc. I went to a river with my friends one day and I started panning. I found an area that looked good for panning and after about 3 hours of nonstop panning, I had a little under a half gram of flakes. That is not worth that much but hey it's money.
Now, If I wanted to get serious about this, I could invest my money into prospecting equipment, dredges, drywashers, pans, sluice boxes, a metal detector etc. If I did this, I could work that river all summer long and see how much gold I would have in the end. I could possibly even find a large nugget but that would be very rare.
I have no idea how this would go though, it would be a complete gamble but it could possibly be worth the money in the long run.
What do you think about this?

Answer by Blake Pardey My father is a pretty serious gold prospector. He has been doing it as a regular hobby for about 5 years and is a member of a gold prospecting club. Over 5 years he has found about 00-00 worth of gold - but he spent about 00 on a top of the line metal detector. I think that most of the gold that is easy to find has already been found. So I think that gold prospecting should be considered a hobby rather than a serious money making activity. If you have the gold bug and you enjoy it, then go for it and best of luck with it. But there may be more profitable activities that you could put your time into - when I was your age I did music tutoring and made quite good money from it. When I was a bit older I did maths tutoring. Maybe you could brainstorm 10-20 ideas of activities you could do to make money (washing cars, mowing lawns, tutoring in your area of expertise etc.) You could ask family and friends for other ideas if you can't think of them yourself. Take care...........
PS - Hey BMW. If you like my answer then please award me best answer as I am trying to get the points to get to level 2. Best of luck earning that money for your BMW M6!

Question by siswitha?: Where can I buy a Sluice Box in Indiana?
This is an item used in panning for gold.
This item can be bought in Indiana as there are gold panning sites here.
Best answer:
Answer by Sunshine Girl We buy them at the local "mom and pop" hardware store where I used to grow up. E.g. "Northern Hardware". Maybe you have a similar kind of store where you live (Not HOME DEPOT)

Question by Melissa: Scrap gold jewelry kits? What do you think?
Has anyone seen those commercials where people get money for their scrap/old gold jewelry? They advertise that you send in your old gold in a "kit" and they send you money for it? Anyone tried it, heard anything about it? It almost seems too far out there, or that they aren't going to give you much money for your gold and you can't get it back? any thoughts out there?
Best answer:
Answer by Samarama I have never used them and never plan to. I think it is a sham and you will get screwed over. I think the best way to get rid of scrap gold is to go to a jeweler and get it appraised and then sell it accordingly. You could get some good deals on Ebay or at a pawn shop. Some jewelers even buy it from you. Don't use the "kit."
If you want more info about it, try the Better Business Bureau.
